About

A blog about philosophical explorations supported by the Barcelona Institute of Analytic Philosophy (BIAP).

The Open Philosophy blog is dedicated to communicating and disseminating BIAP’s research. We also extend invitations to visitors, keynote speakers, and other analytic philosophers. It features short accessible posts about our most recent published research.

The primary aim of Open Philosophy is to make our research more accessible not only to philosophers around the world, but also to scholars in other humanities and social sciences, and to the general interested public.

BIAP Senior member & Outreach Leader Teresa Marques (University of Barcelona) has served as Editor-in-Chief of the blog since its launch in May 2024. In this role, she oversees its editorial direction, ensures the quality of published content, and coordinates contributions from BIAP members and guest writers.

The blog was conceived and developed by Teresa Marques in collaboration with Chiara Panizza (University of Barcelona), who also serves as its administrator. In this capacity, she is responsible for maintaining the platform, managing its technical aspects, and overseeing the publication of new content.
